It was hardly a surprise that these two entrepreneurs pulled off such an awesome wedding, captured by Loren Ioppolo of Nectarine Photography. Kristen, the woman in charge of bespoke wedding styling business Peak Lane and James, the owner of stationery company Free Love had both worked on plenty of weddings before, and now it was their turn.
Stemsational carried the same shades of pink and mauve featured on their floral stationery suite through to their ceremony and reception to create a relaxed, bohemian vibe while Kristen and her bridesmaids set about making their own beautiful flower crowns. “The girls and I had so much fun making our own unique head piece. They were just perfect”, says Kristen who by that stage was a DIY veteran.
“Almost everything at our wedding was DIY”, she tells us. We spent months making and planning every little detail. We hand dyed all of the confetti and favour bags, made tassels and dream catchers and James designed and printed all of the wedding stationery.” Even her gown by Mia Solano was adjusted so that, like everything else at their wedding held at Bluewater Grill in Western Australian, was just right.
