Today is a good day! Why? Because issue 13 hits newsstands nationally and, as always, we are all kinds of excited about it. You see, here at Hello May we are all about celebrating the pretty parts of being a bride as well as the heart-centred parts by encouraging couples to go their own way and not feel pressured into conforming to a certain “style” of wedding.
This issue we’ve featured and chatted to 11 couples who have all recently tied the knot… sure we’ve shown you their flowers, cake, gowns and venues so you can gather inspo for your own shindig at will, but we’ve also asked them for their wise words of wisdom as someone who’s just come out the other side of this whole wedding planning thing. Elise and Kyle, featured on our cover, are just one of these gorgeous couples, and we can’t wait for you to take in their stunning photos by one of our fave Victorian photographers, Jess from Brown Paper Parcel.
We’ve also upped the fashion anti this issue and included not one, not two but three epic editorials spewing forth with new season getups for you to git down in on your day of good times. From couture Vera Wang gowns to oh-so cool Bec and Bridge jumpsuits no matter what your style we’ve got you covered. Literally. This issue we are also going back to our paper geek, stationery nerd loving roots with an epic round up of invitations and paper goods styled by our Market Editor Ally and photographed by the lovely Scott Surplice.
