After going to a few different places looking for a venue with exposed brick, timber floors and high ceilings, Hannah and Luke almost lost hope. That is until their planner, the wonderful Erin of Hope & Lace recommended Brisbane Racing Club. “We immediately fell in love with the long, moody tote room- she knows her stuff, that Erin!”
Going for an industrial vibe, the pair opted for one long table for a “Game of Thrones style feast”, lighting from AV Ideas and the help of an all-star team of vendors including Hello May favourites Paul Voge, Jess Jackson Photography and Wilde Visual.
“All of these legends were the best and I feel like we’ve made some legit friends. Nothing was too hard for these guys, and it really felt as though they genuinely wanted to give us the best wedding ever, and they all certainly delivered,” explains Hannah, who sported a Willow Hastings from Bohemian Brides.
“I wasn’t that fussed when I saw it hanging, but when I tried it on I just knew it had to be the dress I got married in,” she tells us, adding that despite already having a mortgage, two children and six and a half years together, marriage has changed these lovebirds for the better.
“We’ve become this awesome team. Maybe it’s just really sealed the deal for us, I’m not sure but being married is the best- I highly recommend!” Touchû?!
