Going for a backyard garden-rustic-romantic feel, Dean’s family farm was the obvious choice of venue for this pair’s homestyle wedding. Things took a turn for the worst, however, when the Hunter Valley region endured the worst rain and flooding in decades.
Leaving the family property destroyed by the overflow of the Hunter River, the weeks leading up to the wedding were spent pumping the water out of the property. “Although the farm didn’t look the way it usually did post flood, the day turned out perfectly”, says Belinda who hired some of our fave vendors including Kamisha of Little Wren Flowers, illustrator Blanka Biernat and hair and makeup artist Liv Lundelius.
Photographed by All Grown Up Weddings, Belinda looked stunning with her Bo and Luca hair piece and Johanna Johnson gown. With a luxurious 1920’s art-deco vibe, Belinda knew it was the right dress immediately. “I didn’t need to think about it, I bought it that day.”
