After a long weekend away, staying in the family caravan, Craig took Alice on a walk along a favourite beach in Fingal Bay. Taking Alice by surprise, Craig pulled out a poker chip, a memento from the night they first met at a James Bond themed party, and announced he was all in!’
After dating for six years, the two were keen to get the wedding underway. Alice had once joked about getting married at The Grounds of Alexandria, but once they started the venue search it was the one and only location they looked at. “Having shared a number of meals there with friends, it had imprinted itself in our minds. It encompassed the perfect relaxed, intimate and organic feel that we were after.”
Nature and the outdoors are very important to both Alice and Craig, so having a venue with a whimsical, garden atmosphere ticked all their boxes “The communal seating arrangement, shared feasting tables and a central dance floor all added to a sense of family and connectedness,” they explain, adding that Rachael Muller Photography was out of this world.
In Samantha Wills jewellery and an Alex Perry gown, it’s no secret that Alice was a stunner of a bride, though she tells us that the dress shopping was quite an easy feat for her. This no-stress wedding was one to remember with its good vibes, good music (thanks to The White Tree) and good times had by all.
