I am a Brisbane based marriage celebrant and wedding MC, delivering ceremonies in SEQ and beyond. I create inclusive ceremonies which feel fun, laid-back, meaningful, and most importantly, authentic and non-cliched.
I have been a celebrant since 2011, first in London before moving to Brisbane in 2015. I tend to work with couples who believe their ceremony shouldn’t be something that has to be endured to get to the fun bit: it should be a highlight of the day, with laughter, tears and all the feels.
l love writing and story-telling. I don’t use cliches or platitudes, and no cheesy jokes, rather a ceremony that reflects your humour, relationship and vibe.
On a personal note, I love bicycle riding, attempting not to kill things in my garden, podcasts (history and true crime in particular), and dogs. In fact, dogs are probably my greatest love. Your dog. My dog. That dog. This dog. Ugly dog. Pretty dog. Big dog. Small dog. I really don’t care. I’m also partial to cats, rabbits, elephants, iguanas… pretty much all animals really apart from cane toads.
If you’re looking for a celebrant who makes you feel like a friend has married you, then please pop along and say hi. No obligation, I promise.
