Teasing Georgia is an ode to formidable women and flowers. Photographer Cara O’Dowd and floral stylist Jardine Botanic wanted to produce a potent beauty shoot using vivid tones drawing inspiration from artist Emil Nolde, a German Danish painter and printmaker who was thought to be one of the great oil painting and watercolour painters of the 20th century.
Jardine tells us they used a a striking palette of rich reds, indigo, deep plums, pinks, peach, yellow and chartreuse to highlight model Simone’s stunning features. She goes on to say “we used dahlias, flowering gum, amaranthus, hydrangea, delphinium, spanish moss, a variety of roses and home grown garden roses” Oh to be a bee buzzing around on this set! You’d be in absolute heaven!
Rounding out the shoot with nude lids and bold lips was makeup by one of Reload Agencies finest, the lovely Casey Gore and lovely locks from Johnny Hynes.
