You might remember a while back we gave readers of issue two the opportunity to win their wedding photographer. We had talented lensmen and women from around Australia (one from every state to be precise) donate their time, talents and services to seven lucky couples. Lakshal Perera was kind enough to offer up the VIC prize and we are totally chuffed today to bring you the wedding of the lucky winners, Claire and Warrick.
After what seemed like a wedding that would never happen for these sweet lovebirds, with the groom surviving a brain hemorrhage and the bride being stricken with morning sickness in the months before the wedding, Warrick and Claire defeated the odds and they were able to have the wedding day they’d always envisioned.
After such life experiences Claire and Warrick changed their initial vibe and style of their day, they decided to keep it relaxed and casual and focus on the important details the people in their live. They also undertook some brave DIY projects, which included hand made invitations and bouquets.
Photographed by the lovely Lakshal and Kristen Perera, the blushing bride wore a second hand dress that she had altered to fit her and her sweet little bump on the day and we here at Hello May think she looked pretty darn beautiful! This sweet couple decided on the stunning Botanic Gardens in Kyneton for their ceremony and had their reception at the Royal George Hotel.
