WeddingSnap

Hi! We’re WeddingSnap, and we exist for one reason: making wedding photo sharing simple, so you get the photos your photographer never sees. The dance-floor chaos at 11pm, your nan mid-laugh, the blurry-but-perfect selfie your best mate took during the speeches. Those moments end up scattered across a hundred guests’ phones, and most of them never make it back to you.

So we made it simple. You get one QR code. Pop it on your tables, your welcome sign or the back of your menus, and guests just scan it with their phone camera and upload. No app to download, no account to make, no password to forget (yes, even your great-aunt can do it). Every photo and video lands in one private gallery at full, original resolution.

A few extra bits we’re quietly proud of: guests can leave you voice messages (an audio guestbook without the hire fee), a live slideshow can play uploads on the big screen at your reception, and one click turns your gallery into a short film-grain video recap.

It’s a one-off US$39.99 with no subscription, unlimited guests and uploads, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Setup takes a couple of minutes, and you get 24 print-ready QR card and sign designs to print locally.

Think of us as your photographer’s best friend, not their replacement. They capture the day beautifully; your guests fill in all the bits in between. Have a play with the demo on our site, and if you’ve got questions, flick us an email. We’d love to be part of your day!

FAQ

Do our guests need to download an app or create an account?

Nope, and that’s the whole point! Guests point their phone camera at your QR code and the upload page opens straight in their browser. No app, no login, no sign-up. It works on iPhone and Android, they can upload a whole bunch of photos and videos at once, and they can even record a voice message for you while they’re there. If your guests can take a photo, they can use WeddingSnap.

We're getting married in Australia or New Zealand. Does it work here?

Absolutely. WeddingSnap is 100% online, so it works anywhere your guests have mobile reception or Wi-Fi, from a Sydney rooftop to a vineyard in the Hunter or a Queenstown elopement. Pricing is in US dollars (a one-off US$39.99). Our premium printed QR cards currently ship within the US, so for Aussie and Kiwi weddings we recommend grabbing one of our 24 free print-ready card and sign designs, personalising it with your names and date, and printing it locally with your stationer or favourite print shop.

How long do we have access to our photos, and what quality are they?

Everything is stored exactly as your guests uploaded it, in full original resolution, with nothing shrunk or compressed. Your private gallery stays open for 12 months after the wedding, with 50 GB of storage (around 10,000 photos), so there’s plenty of time to relive it all and download everything. Once it’s downloaded, it’s yours forever. Your gallery is private by default and never listed publicly, and you decide who you share it with.

Will WeddingSnap replace our photographer?

Not at all, and we’d never want it to! Your photographer captures the big moments beautifully. We’re there for everything in between: the getting-ready giggles in the other room, the kids’ table, the late-night dance floor after your photographer has packed up, and all the moments from your guests’ point of view. It’s the loveliest way to see your day through the eyes of your friends and family.

Can our guests upload videos and voice messages too?

Yes! Guests can upload photos and videos (iPhone HEIC and MOV files included), and record voice messages of up to five minutes, with the option to pause and re-record. The voice messages live right in your gallery, so you get a sweet audio guestbook without hiring a vintage phone. Grab a tissue before you listen.

How does the live slideshow work at the reception?

Just open your slideshow link on a laptop connected to a TV or projector at your venue, and new photos appear on the big screen about 20 seconds after your guests upload them. It’s a lovely way to get everyone involved (and a gentle nudge for guests to keep snapping). Have a chat with your venue about screen access ahead of time.
