Hello! My name is Urvi and I am the founder and lead designer at The Fabled Brush. The Fabled Brush is a bespoke wedding and event stationery design studio, where my artwork tells your story. That is also how the name was derived! Where your story (fable) is shared using my creativity (brush).

My reason behind launching The Fabled Brush is as simple as this. I love ‘love’ and I express through my creativity. As a romantic at heart, I truly believe that every couple’s love story needs to be cherished and celebrated but also be personalised to the couple. What makes your love story special are the little moments and the experiences that you as a couple have had together and the moments that strengthen you as a couple. Through my design, I aim to highlight you and your story. As a creative person who is also a lover of stationery (do not ever leave me at a stationery store!), I have a good understanding of aesthetics to ensure your invitations stand out from the rest.

All designs at The Fabled Brush are made from scratch so no two designs will look the same – because your love story is unique and therefore, your invitations should be too (cheesy but true).

The Fabled Brush is also a one-stop shop for your print stationery needs. Which means I take care of everything from ideation and designing to printing, assembly and postage to your guests. So, you can sit back and enjoy the lead up to the big day! All you would need to do is send me the guest names and addresses on time.

FAQ

What will my booking include?

Your booking includes design consultation call and ideation, designing and proofing, printing, assembly and postage.

What happens once I have booked with you?

Once you have booked with me, an online consultation call or in-person meeting will be scheduled. During this meeting, I will ask you questions to learn more about your story, your vision for the wedding and your invitation and understand your requirements. After the meeting, I will start designing your dream wedding invitation. I will share the proofs with you. Based on your chosen package, you receive a number of proofs for you to approve the design. Once approved, I will get the invitations and any additional stationery printed. I will also assemble the invitation suites and mail them to your guests. So, you only have to approve the design and I take care of everything for your booking.

Why should I book you when I can just design something on Canva, Vistaprint and print at Officeworks?

Yes, that is an option. However, the quality of artwork on the mentioned sites will not be the same as what I design. My designs are not AI-generated and a lot of thought goes into the process of designing each invitation. Furthermore, I take the load of print orders, assembling and postage off your shoulders through my services. So, you will not have to sit and assemble 100 invitation suites, apply the right weight of stamps and mail them out to your guests.

How well in advance would one need to book a consultation call with you?

Ideally, 7-10 months is a good time. Even earlier if you are having a destination wedding which means you need to give your guests enough time to book their accommodation and flights for your wedding.
I would usually schedule a consultation call with the couple about 7 months before the wedding. Doing this allows me to ensure that I can focus on high-quality designs for each invitation suite including custom artwork, embellishments (if any have been ordered) and ensuring the printing is not rushed. I also do not take more than a certain number of clients per month. By doing so, I am ensuring that I am able to give my 100% to each client and their invitation design and artwork.

What if I don't like the design?

We can change the design to a certain degree. The consultation call/ meeting enables you to share everything you’d want on your invitation. I will also ask you lots of questions to get a very clear understanding of how you want your invitation to look, what colours are preferred, what kind of fonts you like (I will share different samples with you during this meeting). So, you will leave this meeting with a fair idea of what will go on your invitation. This will ensure there are only pleasant surprises for you during the proofing rounds and no shocks. And if any small changes are required such as font colours, font size and similar, they can be taken care of during the proofing rounds.
