Hi! And welcome to The Loft on Hindley. I’m Sally, the face (and photographer) behind the venue.

I wanted to create a space where intimate weddings look and feel magical, regardless of their guest count.

The Loft on Hindley is exactly as the name suggests – a loft-style venue, complete with exposed brick, high ceilings, timber rafters and concrete floors. It’s full of texture, character and quiet (but obvious!) charm. The oversized windows are a feature all of their own, filling the space with beautiful natural light and giving it an effortlessly editorial feel. As the sun begins to set, The Loft shifts into a warm, romantic atmosphere thanks to carefully considered lighting throughout.

I honestly believe once you step inside The Loft, you’ll know immediately if it’s the space for you. And if it’s not, that’s ok too. Whether you’re planning a traditional elopement, an intimate wedding, or just some quick “I do’s” followed by a celebration with your favourite humans (fur-friends included), my aim is to give you a day that feels effortless, beautiful, and uniquely yours. I’ve also teamed up with a handful of wonderful celebrants who share the same vision, and together we’ll take care of all the details while you focus on celebrating, being present, and enjoying every moment.

What are The Loft package options and inclusions?

There are currently 3 package options available at The Loft:

– 2 hours private venue hire
– Celebrant, legals, and all the important parts taken care of
– 1 hour onsite photography

– Choice of black or white Americana chairs

Signature |
– 4 hours private venue hire
– Celebrant, legals, and all the important parts taken care of
– 1.5 hours onsite photography
– Up to 25 guests
– Choice of black or white Americana chairs
– Signature Loft styling (arches, arbour, plinths or drapery)
– Short highlight reel delivered within 48 hours

Personalised |
– Bring your own styling to The Loft
– 6 hours private venue hire (to allow for set-up/pack-up)
– Up to 25 guests

What does it cost to get married at The Loft?

It has always been super important to me to make sure pricing is kept clear and transparent. I’m a real sucker when it comes to hidden costs, so I wanted to make sure the pricing you see is the pricing you receive, rather than a starting point.

These prices are inclusive of GST, and include everything detailed in their package listing above.

Can I add on extras? Ie. another hour of photography, welcome signage, wedding cake, extra guests, etc.

Absolutely! I have a pricing guide for the most requested extras people ask for, which can be emailed out upon request. If you have something else in mind (or a Pinterest board you are wanting recreated!), once you have come in and seen the space in person and we’ve had a proper chat, I can send you a detailed quote making sure everything is covered.

Can we host our Reception at The Loft, or just the Ceremony?

Receptions can definitely be accommodated. These are always quoted on an individual basis. as some parties call for caviar and Moet, while others call for pizza and Pepsi. Once we start chatting you can tell me your vision and we can discuss all of your options – and create some magic.

How much notice is required for an elopement at The Loft?

5 weeks would be the absolute minimum I would suggest! Your NOIM (Notice of Intended Marriage) is required to be lodged one whole calendar month prior to your intended wedding date. 5 weeks will allow your celebrant to get the paperwork submitted in time, and manage the rest of the legal process required.

10000%! My first step with every couple enquiring is to invite you in to view the space and meet with myself. I want to get to know you and I want to be able to envision what you see for your day – I want to be just as excited as you are!!! I love what I do and could talk to you about your plans for literal hours (just ask my hubby haha).
