Bride and groom Bianca and Patrick embracing at Byron Bay wedding venue Earth House

Byron Bay would have to be one of our favourite Australian destination wedding locations, and we’re not alone. If you’ve ever Googled ‘gorgeous northern NSW wedding venue’, you’ll understand that couples getting wed in the region, like Bianca and Patrick, are spoilt for choice.

“We toured quite a lot of venues across Byron to find the perfect set up for us. There are so many incredible venues in the area, but we really wanted it to feel like us,” the couple share. Turns out they’d saved the best for last, with their final stop, Earth House, being just the right fit. “We both got back in the car and just knew it was the one.”

Taking us BTS, the couple shared that their wedding planner Kiera (Creative Weddings Byron Bay) was a wealth of knowledge when it came to local options, and photographers/videographers Wilde Visual “were the best”, to quote the newlyweds.

Catch Bianca and Patrick’s celebration below, and, as you scroll, don’t skim past the details folks. There’s dreamy brown Bec + Bridge bridesmaid gowns, teamed with unconventional green bouquets, and delish bites by Terra Catering – all very worthy of your attention. Enjoy!

Dinner party wedding vibes | Inspo & Wedding Ideas

“We really love good food and beautiful wines. There is nothing we love more than trying new restaurants and hosting in our home with friends and family, or just the two of us. We wanted our day to feel like one big dinner party. Intimate, vibey, but most importantly filled with incredible food and drinks.”

Pre-wedding celebrations

“We are both really close with our family, so wanted all of our siblings (and their kids) involved in some way in the ceremony. We rented the incredible Villa Riad for the week leading up to the wedding with both of our immediate families. It was such a fun week to have some quality time, and to build excitement all together. We hosted dinner at the villa for us all and the bridal party two days before the wedding. My Italian Nonna cooked for all 30 of us. It was the ultimate warm-up to the wedding weekend. Crab spaghetti, champagne, karaoke and more! A few sore heads the next day, but at least it wasn’t the wedding day.”

Advice from the bride &a groom on slowing down and enjoying wedding planning

“Really try and slow down and enjoy it. I do feel like the first few months after getting engaged we jumped right in and started to stress ourselves out a bit. That was definitely driven by me and I regret that a little. It probably wasn’t until six months out that we started to relax into it and just get excited.”

Byron Bay wedding vendors we loved | NSW wedding suppliers

“We loved all of our vendors, they were all amazing, but have to call out two stand outs: The Wilde Visual team – Jess and Meg. We probably didn’t appreciate how much of the day you spend with your photographer/videographer, and I’m so glad it was them. They were like part of the bridal party by the end, bringing (and keeping) the vibes, giving us direction, checking in on us… They were the best! Also Bruno and the Terra Catering team. They were also amazing on the day making sure food and drinks were flowing.”
