Europe vibes but make it Euroa, Victoria – Bek and Greg’s wedding is a certified stunner.
For these two, Euroa Butter Factory was an easy pick. Aesthetically, it’s like an “Australian Tuscany”, which the newlyweds peppered with retro-inspired elements and meaningful references to their Italian and Mauritian roots. “The venue had a beautiful outdoor garden to work around, with a lot of space to socialise and for guests to organically have fun. With all that in mind, we tried to go for a colourful, funky vibe to match,” they explained.
The bride (in a Luci Di Bella gown paired with Lolaknight ear bling) and groom (wearing a Samuel Diamond suit and his Nonno’s wedding ring) told us that choosing Tess Follett as their photographer was a similarly straightforward choice—a “no-brainer” in fact.
Keep your eyes peeled below for buttery yellow bridesmaid frocks, euro-inspired inspo, and the couple’s unique take on traditional wedding moments.
THE VENUE
“Our venue, [Euroa Butter Factory], was the first and only one we visited! A friend who attended a wedding there posted on his Instagram Story, and I knew we had to check it out. When we arrived to see the venue, we both fell in love. It had an effortless vibe that was classic and fun all at once. “Australian Tuscany”, as his mum called it. Talking to the owner, Jill, we were instantly at ease and knew we could just hand her the reins – unsurprisingly, she nailed it.”
THE DRESS
“I went to a few boutiques to try on different dresses and get a feel for what I wanted, but I already had my heart set on a specific style. Arriving at Luci di Bella, my mind was made up stepping into the studio. I loved being able to choose every element of my dress from the fabric to the neckline to the skirt etc. I had full trust in Luci and Jasmine, they understood my vision and executed it perfectly.
MEMORABLE MOMENT
“Where to begin! Being sung down the aisle by a loved one was so special. Our celebrant, Yolande, captured us perfectly in our ceremony and made it a core memory with just the right touches of humour and romance. She managed to ground us in the moment with each other and set the vibe for the whole day. Once everyone hit the dancefloor, they didn’t stop – we danced all night long!”
TALK ABOUT TRADITION
“Greg and I each chose a special family member to give each other our rings as a symbol of our families welcoming each other. Greg also used his Nonno’s wedding ring, which was special to him.”
MARRIAGE MEANS
“Just togetherness. We’re by each other’s side and have each other’s backs, whether it’s a day-to-day inconvenience or battling through one of life’s curveballs (we’ve had many!). We represented that on the day by walking down the aisle together.”
WE’RE GLAD WE…
“Chose what traditions we wanted to keep/scrap, so the feeling on the day was authentically us. We didn’t write personalised vows as we’re generally pretty private, but we each wrote in a vow book that we swapped on the day, which was perfect for us.”
STANDOUT VENDORS
“Tess was a no-brainer – we’re beyond thrilled to have such breathtaking photos to look back on. We’re not great at getting our photo taken, but she made the whole process so fun and easy (she’s also great in a crisis with wet wipes and band aids on hand!). Our friend George was selfless in the huge amount of work creating the florals, and of course, we can’t forget the team at Euroa Butter Factory, who just pulled everything together seamlessly on the day. Every one of our vendors was just so lovely, would absolutely choose them all again!”
Talented, comforting, and equipped with emergency wet wipes? Yep, Tess Follett is a pro with a capital P. Get in touch via the directory.
