Penrith Bridal has been assisting brides with their wedding attire since 1986! Fast forward, 40 years, and we now house over 500 gowns in store, across 15 Australian and international, high-end designers, including the exclusive ‘House of Savin’.

A visit to our store, means you will undoubtedly find ‘The One’ with so much to choose from, across all budgets and sizes. Samples range from size 10 to size 32 and budgets from $1500 – $15,500 are catered for.

Whether you want a ready-to-wear gown, or a custom hand-painted work of art, we can assist you. We make everyone feel welcome, and we are famous for our coloured gowns, as well as our extensive plus-size range. Our socials speaks for themselves, reflecting so many happy brides looking divine in their gowns.

We also offer an in-house dressmaker, so there is no need to travel elsewhere for those important last-minute tweaks. All of our beautiful stylists are knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly passionate about your day. We love what we do and we are genuinely excited for each and every bride we serve.

What wedding dress sizes are available to try on?

Our bridal shop in Penrith offers a lovely selection of wedding gowns in sizes 10 to 32 for you to try on. Our goal is to ensure every bride feels comfortable, confident, and celebrated while finding the perfect dress.

What is the price range of your designer wedding gowns?

Our designer wedding gowns to order from start at $3000 and go to $15,000 with the average price around the $5000 mark. We have over 300 gowns in our showroom to order from. We also have over 200 gowns in our sample sale area which are now at least 50% off, and start at $1500!

What is the difference between ordering a specially made gown from you as opposed to say buying one off the rack from and outlet?

Buying off the rack is about finding something available today. Ordering a gown is about choosing the dress and then having it ordered especially for you. At our bridal boutique we specialise in helping brides create that once-in-a-lifetime experience. We take the time to understand your vision, your shape, your style, to find the one that is unmistakably you! If you’ve dreamed of walking into your wedding, knowing your gown was intentionally chosen and prepared especially for you, that is where the magic of custom ordering really shines. Ordering is a slower process, but it gives you the chance to choose the wedding dress you truly want, rather than choosing from what happens to be available on the day.

Do you offer in house alterations?

Yes! We have an incredibly experienced seamstress who is amazing at what she does, so all of your wedding dress fittings and alterations are completed in our store, without the need to lug your gown elsewhere. With us you know you will be looked after from start to finish and you can trust your gown will be altered professionally.

Do you offer lay-by on wedding dresses?

Yes! Most of the time, we can offer you a 6 month lay-by, pending timeframe, and we also offer storage arrangements after your lay-by is complete if you don’t have anywhere at home to store your wedding gown.

Can I wear makeup or fake tan to my bridal appointment?

You can wear makeup, yes, we are ok with that, but fake tan or tinted moisturiser is an absolute no no. It marks our bridal gowns and is hard to remove.

How many guests can I bring to my bridal appointment and will I have my own area?

You can bring a max of 4 guests with you to your appointment, and yes, you will have your own designated area to try on gowns in. This means you receive a wonderfully intimate bridal boutique experience with your nearest and dearest that really enhances the whole journey of finding the one with us.

Can I visit your bridal boutique to try on different wedding dress styles?

Our appointments are all about guiding you to explore styles and narrow down to what you love. We ask that when Brides come in to see us, they have done some research and are open to the possibility of finding their wedding dress, rather than viewing it as a general try-on session, as we dedicate not only our stylists precious time, but one-on-one styling advice and prepare gowns especially for your appointment. While we don’t ever pressure a bride to decide on the day, speaking from experience, we find that most brides do find the one at their first appointment with us, which is reflective of the amazing range we have curated especially for you!
