FAQ
Do you travel for weddings beyond the Gold Coast?
Yes, but within reason. I generally cap it to 2 hours from the Gold Coast. If I need to go far enough to have to stay overnight, I would need to be able to still drive to the next day’s wedding from there. Missing out on gigs the days before and after are usually the bigger expense than just the fuel and accommodation.
Can you provide wedding MC services?
Yes of course! I’d love to be your wedding MC. My main priority will be music, so if you want someone who will really work the room and mingle with guests to personalise things on the night, consider asking your celebrant or a close friend who can get/has all the inside gossip. However, I can certainly take care of your basic MC needs.
How do you transition from live wedding music to a DJ set?
I have all my gear set up before, so there’s no wasted time setting up the DJing on the night. It depends on how you’d like the reception to go, but most people have me play live for dinner and first dance, and then I DJ the dancefloor music from then until the end, but some have me DJ the entire reception. This means I usually DJ softer/easy listening music for dinner and the more upbeat for later. If you want poolside house music for dinner, that’s also an option with having me DJ for the full reception. I tailor the day to your desires.
Do you bring lighting? Do you provide lighting as part of your package?
I always include my Chauvet DJ lighting setup but can add up-lights to your package for extra room vibes too.
