For this loved up duo, the saying ‘opposites attract’ holds little ground.
“We’re both actors,” says newlywed Paula. “We met while I was doing a show – Brandon was sitting in the from row during our closing performance and we’ve been together ever since.”
“We are each others biggest supporters,” says the bride, adding that their independent experiences as actors has enriched their relationship, “we understand and share the joys and sorrows that come with an artistic career path.”
With a five month engagement to plan their big day, the couple agreed that the shorter amount of time worked well for them, “I actually really enjoyed it – we didn’t wanna feel overwhelmed with choices and have a two year engagement. We knew what we wanted and we went for it,” said the bride, who opted for an Alexandra Grecco gown from the LA boutique, Solstice Bride.
As far as dream teams go, the couple couldn’t speak more highly of their vendors, including Australian photography duo Lover of Mine. “We only had cool people in the team – I’d hang out with all of them!”
When it came to favourite moments of the day, Paula and Brandon agreed it was too hard to just pick a few! “‘Turn Down For What’ randomly playing during our cake cutting and us breaking into an improvised dance number. Brandon singing £Hey Paula in Portuguese and surprising EVERYBODY…We ate the food, we danced the dances, we kissed all night!”
