It’s not everyday that we come across a wedding that steals our hearts and swallows them whole, but Meaghan and Kerry’s wedding certainly did. Held at Victoria’s Heide Museum of Modern Art and captured by photographer Alex Marks Photography their day, which was elegantly styled by Monica Measki and David Cornock from Hire Style, was all about having fun.
“Our inspiration was we wanted a real intimate setting in a natural environment. The reception needed to feel like a big party, 50’s rock n roll band, day beds and beanbags for everyone to relax on. Few formalities, focusing on good food, drinks flowing and lots of dancing”, says Meaghan who had Ambrosia Floral Design create the most breathtaking white and green bouquets and her mum hand sew a stack of personalised cushions using their invitation design from See Saw Studio.
By far the most impressive part of their day however, besides all the love and good times, was Meaghan’s Suzanne Harward gown that fit her like a glove. Meaghan tells us, “My dress was from Suzanne Harward. A couture lace gown with a low back and a ruffled tulle skirt and train. It didn’t take me long to find Suzanne Harward, once I was there I remember trying on a few dresses but there was one which kept catching our eye. When I walked out in the tulle ruffled train, my sister, mum and I knew it was the one.”
