Originally from Beijing, this pair met while working at a university teashop back in 2007. Over the years they’ve become inseparable, having conquered all kinds of challenges together, like assembling IKEA furniture.
When they saw photographer Lilli of I Got You Babe‘s work, Lin and Jie knew that her style was exactly what they wanted. Explaining that it’s Chinese tradition to have an engagement shoot and to use those photos as part of the wedding day decor, Lin and Jie were determined to create something unique and natural.
So before setting off to China to tie the knot, I Got You Babe met up with the lovebirds on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Melbourne to capture this exciting time with them. “From the backstreets of Fitzroy, to a cactus garden, to climbing sandy gigantic rocks, these guys were up to anything and everything!”
