There was one thing Lareina wasn’t willing to budge on and that was an outdoor ceremony. “I did worry about what would happen if it rained as we didn’t have a back up plan, but I din’t want to compromise on the one thing I really wanted: an outdoor ceremony.”
Fortunately, Mother Nature brought sunshine and blue skies allowing their ceremony at Shoreham Forest to go ahead as planned. “Our wedding stylist team made the forest look so magical with bunting and ivy in the trees… they used rustic seating and signage.”
They carried the same style through for their reception, held at Baxter Barn in Victoria – a place Lareina picked for its laid back vibe. “It was at a heritage listed barn surrounded by established green trees and a big lake. There were outdoor heaters, fairy lights and the freedom for guests to sit, stand or roam.”
Captured by Daniel Milligan Photography, what really set their day apart however was Lareina’s Sarah Seven gown from The Bridal Atelier. “I felt like it embodied the two things I was searching for in a gown: simplicity and sweetness.”
The right dress, location and vendors – this pair ticked all the boxes to create a magical and intimate day. To check out more of Sarah Seven’s gorgeous gowns click here or click here to see another rad real wedding by photographer Daniel Milligan.
