After a far and wide search for a venue, Kimmi and Jas realised the perfect choice was right in front of them. “We decided that having it at home would allow us to choose whatever vendors we wanted and have a completely blank canvas to work from,” explains Kimmi, who hired Hampton Event Hire, Sperry Tents Australia and AV Ideas to help bring her “French bohemian” vision to life.
Looking totally gorgeous in a Rue De Seine gown, the bride tells us that the walk down the aisle with her dad was one of many favourite moments from the day. “I loved seeing all the smiling faces of our friends and family and Jas waiting at the end for me. He teases me because I didn’t cry (he did), but I was just so happy and couldn’t wipe the smile off my face.”
With photos by Luke Going Photography, the couple says that their day included tonnes of gorgeous blooms and tonnes of delicious French food to resemble a luxurious picnic followed by dancing under the stars – all styled by the extraordinary Judi of Little Gray Station.
“She went above and beyond for us. She was an absolute blessing and worth her weight in gold. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us to make our day so perfect.”
