Looking at these playful images by Edwina Robertson reminded us that deep down, we’re all just big kids. We all get a little nervous when a camera is pointed in our general direction, so why not take some time out with your photographer pre-nuptials and have a little practise run. That’s exactly what newly engaged couple Kerryn and Ed did when they hit up Brisbane’s annual Ekka fair recently, eating fairy floss and driving dodgem cars.
A lady who describes herself as “the full meal deal” Edwina, or Eddy as we like to call her, battled against a stampede of tiny humans to capture these cheeky, candid images. Between rides, she also managed to snap some very special, romantic moments that simply say “I love you” in so many different ways.
Hailing from Brisbane, Eddy’s approach is all about getting to know each couple and capturing their story in an honest and natural way. It’s obvious from these sweet, unrehearsed images that Kerryn and Ed felt comfortable in her presence and we can’t wait to see their wedding next spring!
