As their most cherished grub hub, Queensland’s Bohemian Bungalow seemed like the perfect spot for Ben to propose to Kath. So good, in fact, that it turned out to be the location for their wedding as well.
“The restaurant we hired went above and beyond with detail and made sure everything looked just perfect. From planning to the day, nothing was ever an issue. The staff felt like family, and all of our guests raved about the food,” explains Kath, who wanted a relaxed vibe and eclectic theme.
“We are incredibly happy with how our day went. It honestly was everything we had hoped for. Relaxed atmosphere, restaurant we felt at home in, great food and service and surrounded by everyone we love.”
Photographed by the oh-so-talented Bonnie Jenkins, Kath had an especially easy time choosing her Grace Loves Lace gown – despite one teensy surprise… “I had to have the dress altered a month before the wedding, we found out we were expecting a baby after booking venue and purchasing my dress.”
With a little one on the way and a wedding to plan, Kath had one essential piece of advice at the end of the day: “Keep it simple, work out what matters most and commit to making those things priority with budget. ”
