From the gown to the arbour, the fur baby (and the bride’s denim jacket he features on the back of), to the food, oh and that view, there was nothing we didn’t love – and feel inspired by – in this insanely Instagrammable wedding. Thanks to Anteloping, Jenni and Simon were able to create this intimate affair with a slew of top notch vendors to make it all happen. The bride was wearing a gown from ever chic The Bridal Atelier, had shoes from Bared Footwear (for “photo adventuring”) and the groom donned M.J. Bale. Barefoot & Bearded documented the day and boy are we glad. Scroll down for all you need to know and see…
THE VENUE “We didn’t see any venues beforehand – not even the one we went with! We wanted the wedding to be somewhere beautiful in the mountains but we also needed somewhere pet friendly and wanted all of our guests to be able to stay at the same property. Tanya from Anteloping found Allview Escape for us online and the pictures were just beautiful and the owners were so lovely that we booked it straight away. We are really glad we did too, it was an amazing venue.”
FAVE DEETS “Flowers – The flower styling was absolutely stunning. Ash from Film & Foliage did the most amazing job making everything look beautiful. Cake Toppers- these were a gift my grandad had given my granny. He used to travel often for work and would bring back cute little animal couples from all over the world for her. He was very romantic! My grandparents are no longer with us so it was nice to be able to include them in some way. The food – Cooper The Wilderness Chef curated a delicious menu for us. My mouth still waters thinking about it. And [that] hand painted Jacket by Gina from GiFlynn Design [via Etsy].”
THE DRESS “Oh my goodness the dress. I am still so in love with it. I first saw it on a random Pinterest search but wasn’t sure who the designer was. I did try on some more traditional bridal dresses but couldn’t get the floral dress off my mind. So I did some more research and found a stockist in Sydney. Chanel at The Bridal Atelier was incredible and even though I was pretty late getting the ball rolling on dress shopping she helped me rush the order through.”
REFERENCES “Funnily enough, we found Anteloping through Hello May.”
A WORD OF ADVICE “Trust your vendors. We took a step back and let everyone do what they do and boy did they deliver! We can’t believe just how incredible everyone involved was. So much talent and passion came together to deliver a beautiful day.”
WE’RE GLAD WE… “Our first look was something we weren’t too sure about but Joel (of Barefoot & Bearded) talked us into it and we are so glad we did it. It allowed us to stop and have a few moments together which just calmed everything down and allowed us to enjoy everything a little bit more.”
STANDOUT VENDORS “The whole Anteloping team were just amazing and we couldn’t recommend them enough.”
