Knowing that love, like any good wine is always better shared Hannah and Myles who you may recall from issue seven, chose to celebrate their four year love affair with their closest friends and family at a private orchard in Perth. Hannah, a barista, student (and now wife) decided to add wedding stylist to her resume. £I did the majority of the decorations / blackboards myself which was a huge job! I also really wanted vintage doors at my ceremony and at my reception so I recruited my dad and my brother to do the handy work for that! My Aunty is an incredible cake maker so she did our wedding cake for us.
An array of beautiful details were also added courtesy of Fox & Rabbit and Pretty Willow Prop Hire but in the end, it was Hannah’s gown that made everyone sit up straight. £I absolutely loved my dress which was made by Elvi Design. I wanted a dress that was elegant but also had detail that made the dress original. My dress was that and more!
Following her friend’s advice, Hannah made sure that amidst the tsunami of compliments, she took some time to soak it all in. £Previous brides told me that your wedding day goes in a blink of an eye. I never believed it but it’s true! The best advice I got from a good friend was that no matter how busy the day feels and no matter how much fun you’re having, take a moment to appreciate and observe your special day.
Pleased to have witnessed everything that went on, photographers Glenn and Lauren from Still Love tell us, £The day was even better than we thought it was going to be – not only was everything amazing, but the dancing was cray cray. The guys and girls had a bit of a dance off, and we hate to say it, but the guys totally won. Quick, someone call a rematch!
