“Classic with a modern twist” was the inspiration for Georgia and Ollie’s stylish Wagga Wagga wedding. These two held their stunning day at the bride’s family farm in country NSW – the same place Ollie popped the question. “We always wanted to have the wedding at the farm because it allowed us to have all of our family and friends and party into the night without restrictions,” the couple share.

Thankfully, they had the incredible Katie Harmsworth along to capture all the love, and as always, the album she delivered is next-level good. Start your scroll to see for yourself!
THE DRESS “My dress was made by Rhonda Hemmingway Couture. I wanted my dress to look elegant and classic. It was trial and error getting the exact design as I hadn’t tried on any long sleeve wedding dresses. I really just had to trust the process. The dress was made out of Italian silk and it was the most luxurious material. My veil was all made by Rhonda. She had four ladies hand cut the flowers onto the veil.”

WE’RE GLAD WE… “Made sure we got a really good photographer! Katie Harmsworth really made us feel relaxed in front of the camera and enjoy the process. We love all of our photos and got a coffee table book made with all of our wedding photos. It’s something all of our friends love to look at when they come over. It also cuts out the admin of needing to do the albums yourself.”

MEMORABLE MOMENT “Getting photos taken by Katie with both wedding parties was so much fun. And the entrance into the marquee – the MC’s were Georgia’s brothers and did a really good job introducing everyone. We also think that the energy you feel from the guests as you walk in is contagious.”

SPECIAL TRIBUTE “Georgia’s mum passed away 18 months before the wedding, so her bridesmaids gave her a tiny picture frame with a photo of her mum on it which she attached to her bouquet. We also named the bar ‘bing’s bar’ after her, and included a beautiful message at the end of the booklets which said: ‘In loving memory of Belinda O’Connell. We know you are here with us as we say ‘I do’ forever in our hearts, forever in our lives, and so we say our vows in loving memory of you’.”

A WORD OF ADVICE “Don’t sweat the small stuff and get a really good wedding planner. Belinda from The Curated Life did such an amazing job. Other advice would be short speeches that are  about the bride and groom as a couple, good alcohol, food and great band. Also make sure the bar is close to the dance floor. All the other stuff are just an added bonus.”
