We used to love going to the doctor’s just so we could get our hands on a bag of jelly beans, but these days we much prefer to look at photos from our favourite Tasmanian photographers, Fred + Hannah. Recently they captured Emma and Troy’s vintage-inspired wedding held at Brambletye Lodge, and we’re a little bit smitten.
“We moved to Tasmania because we love antiques and old-fashioned things so having the wedding on a 19th century country estate suited this perfectly. We also have a strong love of jazz, so the decision to have live jazz playing all night was essential”, says Emma who wore a lemonade coloured Anna Campbell gown. “I found my dress at Little White Wedding Boutique after a road trip to Launceston… It was the very first dress I tried on and as corny as it sounds I knew we’d found it!”
Friends and family traveled far and wide to come and see Emma and Troy’s beautifully styled day. Eb & Flo waved their floral wand, creating beautiful, autumn-inspired arrangements while Emma and Troy finally got to display their wooden DIY signs. It was their assortment of delicious deserts by The Vintage Cake Kitchen however that really took the cake. Even we couldn’t say no to a slice of piano.
