T & J's Central Coast Wedding

T and J boast a truly unique and special wedding planning journey. Lucky in love, and in life, the couple were the delighted winners of the Her Sacred Wedding Giveaway, securing a coveted collection of dream-day details. By the sweetest little rotunda, backdropped by lush greenery, T and J said ‘I do’ on the grounds of Kantara House, located on the New South Wales’ Central Coast. “A stunning venue with thoughtfully curated packages and genuinely accommodating staff,” the newlyweds share. “A hidden gem that feels like a real treat!”

For those on their way to the aisle, T and J advise that “the less pressure you put on things being ‘perfect,’ the more room there is for magic to happen.” “We went into it with very few fixed ideas and stayed open to suggestions and surprises,” they explain. “It allowed everything to unfold naturally and made the day feel even more special, relaxed, and authentically ‘us’.”

“The flowers from Petal Bang were absolutely stunning – they exceeded all our expectations. The cake from Butter Bakery was incredible, with amazing attention to detail and the most delicious flavour. The Iced Vovo option was next level! And Sarah Rowan isn’t just an artist, she’s a true performer. She brought so much energy and heart, engaging our friends and family in creating a collaborative artwork that now holds deep meaning for us.”

“The process was so easy – Mannie from Bowie Rae made us feel completely comfortable exploring different styles. The best thing Mannie said to us was, ‘How do you want to feel on the day?’ rather than ‘How do you want to look?’ From that moment, everything fell into place and the magic happened. We couldn’t have been happier with our dresses or how we felt wearing them.”

“When J stepped out of the car, her sister quickly handed the bouquet to their dad so she could adjust the bow on the dress. In all the excitement of getting her down the aisle… he just kept holding it, and proudly walked her down still clutching the flowers! Honestly, it really suited him. A true flower dad moment!”

“Mid-reception, with a few drinks under everyone’s belt, our fabulous MC came over for a chat – full of flair, he did a dramatic 360-degree swirl… and promptly set his jacket on fire on one of the candles! Thankfully, he was fine, just slightly singed and very sparkly for the rest of the night!”
