Finally we found a man who shares our love for all things DIY! “…he’s pretty darn creative when he wants to be”, says Britt about her hubby Will, who single handedly made all their log benches and bunting “… cause who would have thought but he can sew too!”
Our favourite Western Australian photographers Lauren and Glen of Still Love were digging this creative couple too, telling us, “…when we met Britt and Will at their pre-wedding shoot, we knew they were our kind of couple – so thoughtful, always laughing and super loved up. So their wedding was a breeze to shoot – full of emotion, a super cute flower girl, and tonnes of amazing DIY details that friends and family had poured their heart and soul into.”
Held at Taylors Art and Coffee House in the Swan Valley, Western Australia their day was inspired by a mixture of trending wedding styles. “We loved the outdoors, rustic kinda vibe but also the colourful, bright and super fun style and a touch of vintage thrown in there. So we basically combined a bit of everything and put it all together, and it looked pretty rad in our opinions!”
Dressed in a beautiful gown by Collezione Bridal, Britt later followed Will to the dance floor where they stayed until it was time to sample their homemade wedding cake. Yum!
