This super sweet wedding, captured by Neiyo Photography, took place at Gum Gully Farm in Victoria. By far one of our most adored wedding venues in all the land, it exists just 40 kilometres east of Melbourne’s CBD. Belle tells us, “when we found Gum Gully Farm and saw the quaint chapel and fire-warmed barn with expansive tables, we knew we’d found our ‘home’.”
Their cheerful day was a huge DIY effort. For Belle, an illustrator, their water colour invitations were her greatest success, leading to the launch of her online stationery store HappyJackShop. Like her Claire Pettibone gown, it was something she’d wanted for a while.
“My dress is a second hand Claire Pettibone gown called “Chantilly”. I’d been drooling over it for a year or two, way before we’d started making any plans. When we got engaged I thought I’d try to track down one more in my budget, and found one in my size being sold second hand online.” In the end however, Belle really only cared about one thing – marrying her best friend. “… everything else is a bonus”.
