As you scroll through these emotive images by Luma Photo, quietly notice how you can’t help but crack a small smile. A Melbourne-based duo, each of these candid shots of Ali and Tim’s wedding explains why they have quickly become industry favourites. Exploding with real, raw emotions, Luma Photo have made us fall head of heels for this cute couple and their gorgeous, rustic wedding.
Held at Gum Gully Farm in Victoria, a stunning property near the Yarra Valley wine region, it was an ideal spot for their laid back day. “We have always been attracted to rustic and natural aesthetics. We wanted a relaxed and free spirited vibe”, says Tim, who must have felt like he’d died and gone to heaven when he first saw Ali in her Grace Loves Lace gown.
Married beneath a beautiful floral archway by Flowers Vasette, there was something quite magical about their day that we can’t quite place. Perhaps it was their furry friends, who were keen to share the love too. Or a combination of colourful confetti and a beautifully styled reception – complete with fairy lights and a white, vintage bunting. Or maybe it was the Stiletto Sisters who kept everyone up and dancing throughout the night.
Either way we’re sure it will be a day both Ali and Tim will remember for many years to come. “It was freaking amazing”, says Tim (about the dessert). Maybe that was it.
