Alex and Cameron knew from early-on in their relationship that it was going to be a forever kinda thing. “We have felt married for five years already, the only difference now is now we have a ring and some new really awesome memories,” Alex tells us, adding that her mind started to race with ideas the night of the proposal.
“All I could picture was the Collingwood Childrens Farm. It had been a place where we had gone for walks and to the markets and loved. Literally everywhere you turn is a perfect picture,” says the bride, who rocked not one – but THREE gowns and some gorgeous Grew & Co bling.
Captured by the amazing Alli Oughtred Weddings, the day featured bourbon sours, a country-western style photo booth, and, wait for it… A mechanical bull. “My bridesmaid Camilla getting on the bull was a hilarious memory. The crowd was in hysterics! Such a funny moment,” Alex remembers, though it was their ceremony performed by Hello May fave Marry Me Dee that stood out as super special.
“I had seen the fabulous Dee on Hello May’s Instagram account and just thought she was so quirky and fun.
Dee did such a fabulous job of our ceremony as well, we wanted it to be personal not a cookie cutter ceremony, and she was right on board and had everyone laughing and even my brother shed a few tears.”
