Tash and Paul were recently married in beautiful Euroa, rural Victoria, but not before Tash stopped to get a snack! She explains… “I was determined to be on time because I wanted to impress (and surprise) my always on time husband to-be. Besides, I didn’t want to miss out on a moment of the party which was to follow! But alas, I was about 15 minutes late in the end? The girls and I had been grazing on nibblies all morning but when it came time for us to actually leave our accommodation for the ceremony we had some hungry bellies. So, once we finally had phone reception somewhere along the winding countryside road from Ruffy to Euroa, I made a call and Billy (over at the Euroa Butter Factory) who whipped up some wholesome bread rolls for us on arrival. A fluff of my skirt, and we made our way down to our positions under the oak trees so that the ceremony could begin.” This certainly set the tone for a mellow afternoon to follow.
While Tash and Pauls family and friends banded together for many a DIY project in the lead up to the big day (homemade jams, place cards and lemon cordial just to name a few) Tash is quick to point out “we didn’t get too caught up in perfection. The whole celebration was a perfect whirlwind of love, laughter, and so much dancing!”
Tash has high praise for the two lovely ladies from Brown Paper Parcel and We Take The Long Way Home, charged with the task of photographing their wedding. She says “these are two girls you just want to crack a bottle of red with and dance on into the night!? And, they just happen to be fabulous photographers! Love, Love, LOVE these girls!” She also sites one of her favourite moments of the day as “when your photographers are almost jumping out of their knickers in excitement as it’s £the perfect light you get a little excited too! With the moon in full swing we gracefully’ climbed the paddock fence and ended up having the most amazing time whilst Jess and Steph snapped away? Loved that bit!”
We hope you enjoy these beautiful images and find a little bit of inspiration for your day amongst them. We would love to hear what theme / style of wedding you will be having?
