Do Rose and Pete look like they just love each others socks off or what! This beautiful couple recently tied the knot at The Solitary in Leura Falls (otherwise known as the Blue Mountains) after 3 glorious years together. The amazingly talented (and wonderfully amazing) wedding photographer Lara Hotz was on hand to capture it all!
Rose, who wore a Lover bridal gown and rose buds in her hair, tells us “The day was truly perfect to the both of us. In memories all I can see is Pete and I enjoying every moment. There were no hiccups on the day, if there were we didn’t notice them. It was one of the most perfect days in December in the Blue Mountains. It’s always a gamble planning a wedding in a place with sometimes unpredictable weather, especially when your ceremony is held outside. But the afternoon sun came through and it was warm into the night.”
Lots of hunting and gathering online, and time and effort from talented friends, went into the planning of Rose and Pete’s wedding day with decorations from Confetti System, an awesome cake topper from Etsy store Ready Go, (to go atop the amazing cake by Flour and Stone), and stationery by illustrator Talisa Sutton.
Rose explains “My girlfriends lent so much of a hand to us both as did our family. Our wedding not only bought us closer to each other, but to our family and friends. It went so fast but in my mind it was a blur of music, food, flowers, family and kissing Pete. Our guests always say they wish they could do it all again so I think they all had a good time too!”
