The One Fine Day wedding fair really is the event of the year for couples on the hunt for a rad team of vendors. Curated to perfection, the market is essentially a one-stop-shop for wedding planning and a fab day out to boot. It’s like walking right on into your dream wedding day Pinterest board.

Sydney attendees will be hosted at the glorious The Cutaway at Barangaroo Reserve on June 19th & 20th whilst Melbourne fair-goers can enjoy the spacious Hoi Polloi at the Younghusband Woolstore on June 26th & 27th.

Best get a wriggle on if you fancy grabbing a ticket. We’ve rounded up ten reasons why this event is a must-attend so please, read on for the goods…

1. BEVVIES
Honestly, what’s a spot of wedding planning without a champers in hand? Every attendee receives a glass of the good stuff upon arrival which makes the experience that little bit more indulgent. You can also nab a VIP ticket (here for Melbs and here for Syd) should you fancy a couple of extra drinky poos in the One Fine Day VIP lounge.

2. EPIC FLORAL INSPO
Oh, the floral inspo! Each and every vendor goes all out on their stalls and the floral exhibits are some of the best. Be sure to snap away and add to your mood board!

3. FREE STUFF!
Always a bonus, right? The best way to maximise the goodies is by nabbing yourself a VIP ticket. This sweet deal entitles you to two drinks in the VIP lounge, a goodie bag valued at 100 buckaroonies and entry into VIP giveaways. You can secure you and your fiancé some ticks right here. Vendors will also be holding their own comps so be sure to get in one some of that action, too.

4. TASTY TREATS
Naturally, all this wedding planning business will have your tummy grumbling so aside from filling up on cake samples, there will also be a couple of fab food vans on-site serving up the goods.

5. DISCOUNTS & DEALS
A heap of vendors will have some fair only discounts so do be sure to jump on these as they are exclusive to One Fine Day. Think of the savings, people! Head here to catch the Melbourne exhibitors and here for Sydney vendors and get your hit list prepped.

6. THE RUNWAY SHOW
Curated by yours truly (yep, us gals at Hello May!) the One Fine Day runway is a great chance to take a squiz at the newest gowns on the block. You can sit back with a bev in hand and catch your fave gowns from every angle as they cruise on past. The runway shows take place three times a day so you’ll be able to catch it whenever you decide to mosey on over. Fancy front row seats? Be sure to grab yourself a VIP ticket (Melbourne attendees can nab one here and Sydney fair goers here).

7. MAKE A DAY OF IT
Whilst this one goes without saying, One Fine Day is a great chance to make a day of it with your fiancé. You’ll be able to cross off a heap of items from your wedding planning checklist whilst getting out and about. It’s a great way to narrow down your must-haves and work on curating the concept you’re after. If you’re out with your maids, be sure to hit up the dedicated bridesmaids corner.

8. VENDORS FOR DAYS
Now, this is where the real gold is at, guys. One Fine Day has done the hard yards and sourced only the best of the best. Their careful curation of vendors means you aren’t overwhelmed with too many options and those that are put forward are the cream of the crop. Having a good old chin wag is a great way to connect with vendors and you’ll have the added bonus of being able to see first hand the goodies they have to offer, from luxe stationery to sparkly gems. Head on over here for a list of Melbourne exhibitors and here for Sydney vendors who’ll be making an appearance.

9. LIVE MUSIC
After the year we’ve just had, we’re even keener on a spot of live music so you’ll want to grab this opportunity to hear some of the best. This is the greatest way to find a band or entertainers that will suit your vibe as you can soak up the atmosphere first hand.

10. SUPPORT AUSSIE EVENTS
One Fine Day is a registered Covid safe event so don’t fret. With events back on the cards, nabbing yourself a ticket to this legendary wedding fair is a great way to support the Aussie events industry as well as a whole heap of the small businesses that make up the Australian wedding industry.
