Lento, which translates to “slow” in Italian, is a gentle nod to the beauty of things that take time – love stories, heirlooms, pearls. Shot against the cinematic backdrop of Lake Como, this campaign showcases a stunning first for TMC – the introduction of cultured keshi pearls into their signature line-up of modern and magnificent bridal jewels.
“While it’s a natural fit for brides, we really designed Lento with longevity in mind. These pieces are made to celebrate not just the big day, but the little moments after – anniversaries, milestones, even just a Tuesday that deserves something beautiful,” TMC founder and the creative force behind Lento, Makayla Donovan, says of the collection, which she also describes as “quiet luxury”.
What we love most? These aren’t your grandmother’s pearls – although we’re sure she’d approve. The Lento collection features free-form keshi pearls, each one a little different and all ethically sourced using low-impact, mindful methods. These aren’t mass-produced gems, friends – they’re tiny works of art and nature, celebrated for their individuality and luminous texture. We’re low-key obsessed with The Allora Pendant , a one-of-a-kind keshi pearl, and The Arietta Earrings, which are available in emerald, oval, pear and round-cut gemstones.
