There’s certainly something special about vintage wedding dresses – antique lace, soft ivory silks and the idea that they hold a story of love and loss once told many moons ago .
They’re nostalgic and special and one-of-a kind (see Peony, Joplin and Freida and you’ll know what we mean) and it’s for these reasons that Michele Corty of Rue De Seine has been sourcing them from around the world long before she had somewhere to showcase them.
Despite having created her own incredible collection (featured here and available via The Babushka Ballerina in Brisbane or The Bridal Atelier in Sydney and Melbourne), her appreciation and admiration for the couture designers of the past remains.
With gowns ranging from around $1,500 and up to $9,000 you can view the entire collection online or pay a visit to the Rue De Seine showroom in Auckland, New Zealand! Either way if you buy a Rue De Seine gown for your wedding day (vintage or new) make sure you submit your photos to us here!
Sydney brides keen to check out Rue De Seine’s brand spanking new 2016 collection before it’s released this October can score a sneak peek here and book an appointment to try on the new range at The Bridal Atelier July 17 and 18! But hurry places are filling up fast!
