Guys. Fridays are a good time, right? You’ve got your Feel Good Friday mix playing on Spotify (you and me both) and whether you’re in the office or working from home during these darn lockdowns (thanks COVID), it’s irrelevant really, ‘cause you can get involved in this post from anywhere, and guess what? It has everything to do with what will be one of the funnest days of your life and we couldn’t be happier to create this content right now.

As our heading so clearly states (no clickbait here, friends), we bring you the latest and greatest from Australian bridal designer, Grace Loves Lace for 2021, their recently released Disco Daydream capsule collection, that boasts a tightly edited range of slip-on, satin styles for the young at heart, who is looking to live a little, while still getting the quality, comfort and fun that the lovely label is known for. They say it’s a direct response to the needs of brides right now, part of an ever-changing landscape of restrictions, looking for ready to wear that they can peruse, purchase and wear as soon as allowed.

Inspired by the rhythmic beat of the dance floor, [it’s] a celebration of good times and L.O.V.E,” says the designer. “The star of the show is the highly visual textured satin – where high impact and understated chic collide.”

They are literally dispatched within three days of the order being placed and they are all priced at a very reasonable $2200 (sizing from XS-XL). Oh and if you’re living in an area that is under lockdown or limits (due to the pesky pandemic), they have this foolproof guide on how to buy your wedding dress online. It includes sizing information and how to take your measurements. Handy eh?

“In addition to the gowns, Grace Loves Lace will also launch a collection of accessories – including veils, a silk headband and handbags – along with a flower girl dress, all 100% ethically manufactured from wedding gown offcuts.”

And wow, if it’s accessories you are interested in, you’ll also find their latest Jewellery Edit below, too (prices from $90). It’s an on-trend but still classic mix of earrings, anklets and necklaces that will complement your style choices without stealing the limelight – the perfect balance, no?

Lastly, keep an eye out for their just-released, standout Lumi Gown ($2700) and Veil ($490) that you’ll find at the very bottom of this post. It’s “the most eco-friendly GLL gown to date,” says the designer. “The innovative fabrics and finishes used in Lumi reduce landfill, ocean waste and CO2 emissions, whilst saving water and energy. Handcrafted from 96% recycled materials, they are GLL’s first GRS certified pieces, sustainably and ethically crafted in our Australian studio.”

They literally have showrooms all around the world, and are still designed and made in Australia – not an easy task! Hats off to the beautiful brand we say! You’ll find them on our Directory here – and in a few recent round-ups we did here, here and here. But that’s enough from us, scroll on down for those gowns and accessories we have talked all too much about above.
