Ethereal Engagement & Wedding Rings for Modern Lovers
If engagement or wedding rings are next on your wedding to-do list, stop what you’re doing and take a peek at Argent Silversmith‘s latest drop – the Plume Collection. It’s giving ethereal alpine goddess meets modern heirloom, and honestly? We’re obsessed.
Crafted in the Kiewa Valley (yep, right in the heart of Victoria’s alpine country), The Plume Collection is a love letter to the landscape that shaped it. Think snow-capped peaks, soft drifting clouds and wind-sculpted snow ridges – those delicate, otherworldly patterns called sastrugi. Each ring captures that sense of movement and light in precious metal form. Poetic? Absolutely. Wearable art? 100%.
“The essence of this collection is inspired by the uniqueness of the wind-carved shapes in the snow and the cloud formations in the surrounding mountainscape,” says founder and jeweller Liz. “That sense of ephemeral beauty guided us in creating Plume: ceremonial jewellery that feels at once timeless and entirely personal.”
The collection features solitaire engagement rings and paired wedding bands designed to be stacked, layered, and loved. Pieces are made to order (we love a slow fashion moment), so you can choose your own stone, metal, and finish. Whether you’re after something minimal and sculptural or a little more luxe, your ring will be as one-of-a-kind as your love story.
And if you’re already swooning – same. The textures, the curves, the craftsmanship – chef’s kiss. Each ring feels like it’s been kissed by mountain air and touched by sunlight.
The Plume Collection joins Argent’s much-loved Signets, Charms, and Impressions series, all handcrafted in regional Victoria. Liz and her team are keeping the flame of traditional silversmithing alive, proving that meaningful design and sustainable craftsmanship never go out of style. So, if you’re after rings that tell a story, Plume is calling your name.
