Ten years ago, I traded a lamb for a van full of flowers to use at my own wedding. That swap sparked something. Within a year, I’d turned our small patch of land in Lyonville, in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges, into a proper cut flower farm. A decade on, my husband Chris and I are still out here every week, growing and harvesting everything ourselves, season by season.

We grow over 50 varieties across the warmer months, September through April. Everything we work with is cut fresh from our own paddocks, often the same day it’s arranged. There are no imported stems, just what’s actually in season and thriving right now. Our season begins with tulips and paper daisies, and finishes with dahlias and chocolate cosmos (among many others!). The flowers change constantly, and so does what we’re able to create.

Weddings are where we spend most of our care and attention. We love building something completely unique for each couple, shaped entirely by what the garden is offering that week. Loose, garden-style, and always true to the season, genuinely fresh, cut just metres from where it’s arranged, and scented the way flowers actually should be.

FAQ

Do you only use seasonal, Australian-grown flowers?

Yes, always. Everything we supply is grown by us on our own farm in Lyonville, in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges, and cut fresh for your day — never flown in or imported. That means the flowers on offer change through the season, and we design around what’s actually thriving at the time. It’s part of what makes each wedding genuinely one-of-a-kind.

What services do you offer for weddings?

We focus on growing and arranging fresh flowers for your day — think bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, as well as flower and foliage buckets for ceremony and reception arrangements, and styled tablescapes. We don’t offer installations, hire items, or event styling/design services beyond the florals themselves, so we’re best suited to couples who already have a venue and stylist in mind (or have friends/family to assist), or want a simpler, flower-focused approach.

Can I request specific flowers or colours for my wedding?

We’re always happy to talk through a colour palette — it genuinely helps shape the design. Because everything is grown seasonally on our own farm, we can usually tell you exactly which flowers will be in their prime for your date, dahlias in February and March, tulips in September and October, and so on. What we love most is using that seasonal knowledge to bring your palette to life with whatever’s looking its absolute best at the time, so every arrangement feels fresh and completely true to the moment.

What can I make with a bucket of flowers, and how many stems are included?

Our flower buckets are a great option if you love the idea of arranging your own flowers, or you’ve got a helpful crew keen to get involved the day before. Each bucket contains approximately 125 stems, which is enough for around 10 mason jar arrangements. Each bucket has a range of flower types, sizes and heights, and is pre-arranged so it can be easily adapted to a variety of vases, or even kept as one large, impressive display.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking six months to a year in advance, but reach out even if your date is close; we’ll always try to help if we have capacity.

Do you deliver, or do we need to collect?

Collection from the farm is our ideal option, and we have plenty of clients who arrive one or two days earlier so they have time to arrange and put the flowers together. If we are available, delivery is absolutely an option and is charged based on distance.

Do you have a minimum spend for your weddings?

No! We are happy to work with weddings of all sizes, whether it’s an intimate elopement or a larger affair.

Do you provide vases or hire items for arrangements?

We don’t offer hire items, but everything we deliver arrives ready to go — bouquets and arrangements are presented in water-filled vessels rather than wrapped dry, so your flowers stay fresher for longer and there’s nothing extra you need to sort out on the day.

How does your pricing work?

We keep it clear and simple. Once you enquire, we’ll send you our full wedding and event guide with everything priced out, so you know what to expect from the start. From there, just fill in a short form with your details and what you’re after, and we’ll come back with an accurate, tailored quote.

Do you use floral foam, and are you eco-conscious in how you work?

No floral foam, ever. We design everything so flowers can rest and spill naturally, the way they would in a garden. Beyond that, sustainability runs through the whole business: our flowers are grown organically using regenerative methods, and we avoid single-use plastic wherever we can. We use recycled vessels for our bouquets, and while they are included, we encourage clients to return vessels and buckets where possible so they can be reused. It’s a genuinely low-impact way to have beautiful flowers at your wedding.
