Our Story

Bridal by Aubrey Rose was founded in 2011. The boutique entered a new chapter when Georgina took the reins and brought her own vision to the business.

Georgina’s connection with Bridal by Aubrey Rose began as a bride. She purchased her own wedding dress from the boutique in 2012. Eight years later, in 2020, she became its owner.

Today, Georgina brings warmth, passion and a genuine love of connecting with brides to every part of the boutique experience.

In 2026, Bridal by Aubrey Rose will unveil an elevated boutique in the heart of Mt Hawthorn, WA. Brides can continue to expect the same intimate, private and personalised experience.

At Bridal by Aubrey Rose, finding your wedding dress is about more than choosing a gown. It’s also about creating memories and enjoying a special part of your wedding journey.

FAQ

How far in advance should I start shopping for my wedding dress?

We recommend starting your wedding dress shopping 10–12 months before your wedding. This gives you plenty of time to discover your favourite styles, place your order, and complete alterations without feeling rushed.

If you have a shorter timeframe, don’t worry. Many of our designers offer rush options, and we have a beautiful selection of off-the-floor gowns available for immediate purchase.

What appointment types do you offer?

We offer two bridal appointment experiences, each designed to help you find your dream wedding dress in a relaxed and personalised setting.

Our Complimentary Bridal Appointment includes 60 minutes with one of our experienced bridal stylists, a complimentary glass of bubbles, and expert guidance as you explore our carefully curated collection.

For brides looking to make the occasion extra special, our LUXE Bridal Experience includes a private 90-minute appointment, exclusive use of the boutique, free-flowing bubbles and mimosas, a grazing platter, and one-on-one styling. 

What designers do you stock?

At Bridal by Aubrey Rose, we carefully curate a collection of leading Australian and New Zealand bridal designers, including Jane Hill, Hera Couture, Kellylin Couture, JRW Bridal, Chic Nostalgia and Lillian West.

We have selected our collection to suit a range of bridal styles and budgets, from modern and minimalist to romantic and timeless. Our experienced stylists will help you find the wedding dress that feels uniquely you.

What should I bring to my appointment?

The only thing we recommend bringing is nude, seamless underwear, so you can comfortably try on a variety of gowns. There’s no need to bring heels—we have shoes in the boutique to help you visualise your complete bridal look.

Most importantly, bring the people whose opinions you truly value. We always encourage brides to invite only their closest, most supportive loved ones, as too many opinions can sometimes make the decision feel more overwhelming than it needs to be.

Our complimentary bridal appointments accommodate the bride plus up to four guests. If you’d like to celebrate with a larger group, we’d love to host you in our LUXE Bridal Experience, which is designed for bigger parties and includes a few extra special touches.

Do you offer alterations?

We don’t offer alterations in-house, as they’re separate from our bridal boutique services. However, once you’ve found your dream dress, we’ll happily recommend trusted bridal seamstresses and guide you through the next steps so your gown fits beautifully on your wedding day.
