I believe there’s a particular kind of quiet that falls over a bride the moment she finds her gown. It’s not loud or dramatic; it’s more a settling sense of “oh, there you are.”

I’ve loved weddings for as long as I can remember – the fabric, the fairytale, the feeling of a room right before someone says yes. That love took me through years studying fashion design and working in the industry, then to Europe. There, I came to understand the kind of fabrics, silhouettes and fit that make a gown feel less like clothing and more like a moment.

Ivory Bride began in Warrnambool in 2019 and has since grown into a studio in South Melbourne, where our gallery houses a curated edit of exclusive and highly sought-after designers from Europe and Australia.

I’m also a bride myself, so I understand the search from the inside. You’re not looking for a gown that simply looks beautiful. You’re looking for one that feels like you – the version of you about to start an entirely new chapter.

Our consultations are private and unhurried. It’s just you, the people you love most, and space to try things on until something feels right. If a veil is part of your vision, ours are made bespoke, shaped to sit perfectly with you and your gown.

I built Ivory Bride to be fearless in the same way I hope you’ll feel walking down the aisle: confident, individual and entirely yourself.

I can’t wait to meet you.

FAQ

Who should I bring to my bridal appointment?

Our change suite can comfortably accommodate the bride plus four guests. This helps create a calm and relaxed environment for finding your gown.

Our advice is to only bring supportive, positive and kind people to your appointment. Too many conflicting opinions can become overwhelming and disheartening. Less is more when it comes time to choose your wedding gown.

Remember, your opinion is the one that matters. Our space is not suitable for young children. Children must be under adult supervision at all times, and any damages must be paid for in full.

What size range does Ivory Bride carry?

We wish we could stock every sample in every size; unfortunately, this isn’t viable for a small business.

We pride ourselves on being inclusive with our sample sizing, with the majority of our bridal samples between sizes 12–16. Most of our bridal gowns can be ordered up to a size 26.

With years of experience dressing brides every day, we have special fitting and styling techniques to help brides visualise how a gown will look in the correct size.
