Love Marie was established in April 2015 after I had been hand-making bridal headpieces and styling for bridal magazines in the business for more than five years. I noticed gaps in the Australian bridal market for international designers who were not available to Aussie girls! A plane ticket was booked to NYC Bridal Market and Love Marie was born (named after my adoring late Grandma).
Starting with three amazing designers, Love Marie now has what has been labelled one of the largest selections in Sydney. Currently, nine designers grace the racks and over 150 gowns! The collection is constantly evolving, growing, changing – each designer having their own unique flavour different to the next! The stellar lineup currently includes designers from the USA, South Africa, Ukraine and our very own Melbourne! Jane Hill, Georgia Young Couture, CHOSEN By Kyha, Alyssa Kristin, & For Love, Esty, Alena Leena, Elli-Nicole and Tara La Tour.
The studio is by appointment only. The space is completely your own for your booking with uninterrupted access to any gown you want to try! Appointments are 1 hour! From six years of experience, this is the perfect length – any more and it can become quite overwhelming. Your best to rebook after having a think and try things again with a fresh mind. Your stylist will be me, Amy. With a 4-year Advanced Diploma in Fashion design, as well as fie years fashion industry experience and over 10 years in the wedding industry – you’re in good hands.
