When planning a wedding we understand it can be easy to loose track of the countless online enquiries you’ve sent out. Businesses blur into one and it all gets a little holly-cow-did-that-photographer-offer-the-all-day-coverage-or-was-it-that-one-or-maybe-it-was-that-one-oh-dear-god-I-need-a-drink!
Our Hello Vendor profiles offer creative couples and brides and grooms to-be the opportunity to meet the clever humans behind the brand. It gives you a chance to put a face to the name and allows you to gain some insight into what makes the creative souls you are hiring to shoot/design/bake/style, or in this case, sing at your wedding tick. We’ve introduced you to florists, hair and makeup artists and collectors of second hand designer gowns, just to name a few, and today, here we are again, introducing you to the lovely and ever so talented Nat from Tillee Music. Let’s dive right in shall we.
Tell us a little bit about who you are and what you do… Well I am Nat and am lucky enough to do what I love to do which is both sing and work with couples in love planning the day of their dreams.
What kind of services do you offer the bride and groom looking for a bit of live entertainment? I offer music for ceremony, canapes and receptions. Either all of them or 1 of them, it really is up to the couple and what they’re after. Music is crucial for a wedding because it sets the mood for you and your guests.
How long have you been in the singing game for? I’ve been in the singing game for over 10 years and loved it from the very beginning. I never get tired of it.
Fave song to walk down the aisle to? Oh wow there are a few great ones especially of late so to name a few: Bella – Angus & Julia Stone, We Found Love – Rihanna, The Thief – Brooke Fraser, and the newest and often requested All of Me – John Legend.
Weirdest request you’ve ever had? The oddest song request was a metallica song for when the couple walked down the aisle – nothing else matters.
Top three covers to sing? I love me abit of Rihanna, we’ve just added blurred lines – robin thick into our sets and Johnny Cash is always a lot of fun too – I have too many faves to list!
What do you love most about what you do? My biggest love would be that I can do what I most enjoy in life and I get to see others enjoy it too.
Do you have a favourite ceremony or reception venue? Gosh there’s a tonne I love – The Boathouse in Palm Beach & Montrose Berry Farm are incredibly gorgeous but there are so many more, just ask me!
Where can we see more of your work? You can hear some live recordings on my website and mid February we’re excited to have some new clips and recordings to add – keep your eyes peeled on our Tillee Music Facebook page for their release!
Nat plays the entire east coast and is currently taking bookings for the 2014/15 wedding season. Be sure to get in quick sticks folks, this lovely lady books up fast!
