Our fourth annual Real Wedding Special hit newsstands nationally on Thursday February 1 and we took the celebrations on the road first with a launch lunch at Three Blue Ducks in Byron Bay and then, last Friday we rounded out the good times with cocktails and canapû?s followed by a delicious three course sit down lunch at Three Blue Ducks in Rosebery.
Again, no one would of been in attendance without our rad letter pressed invitations from D&d letterpress and Rach from Peachey Pie Weddings flew down from Byron Bay to sort us out on the styling front with some seriously beautiful blooms by those clever kids at The Sisters, one of our fave floral styling duos who’s wedding work you can check out here.
After canapû?s and cocktails were served in the beautiful leafy green courtyard (which also makes for a great ceremony spot), we sat down to a delicious three course lunch with some of our longest standing contributors and fave local designers.
Like the Byron Bay lunch everyone enjoyed goodie bags which included a macramû? bag from The Beach People (perfect for the honeymoon!), the most delicious smelling candle from Damselfly (best bridesmaids gift going around if you ask us!) and rocky road from those sweet humans at Black Pantry, who are our go to for wedding favours. We of course threw in a copy of our fourth annual Real Wedding Special for everyone to enjoy too, with our beautiful cover by Blacklist Studio who also generously provided our guests with their very own ‘From This Day Forward’ Guest Book.
