Though they had been living in the UK for quite some time, Susannah and Peter decided that Queensland was where they wanted to marry. “We chose my family’s farm because we had spent many weekends away there and my husband grew up on a farm. It only seemed right to pick a place that both families could connect with,” says Susannah, who opted for bright colours and Moroccan influenced decor with help from First Class Functions.
“We decided on a theme that brought all of the sights and sounds of our time together alive. The rolling hills and scenery of an Australian outdoor wedding, the kaleidoscope of colours from our travels and the field full of friends and family that brought the true spirit to our wedding.”
Knowing exactly what she wanted from the get-go, Susannah’s search for her dream gown was stress-free. With a vision of something relaxed yet elegant and floral in mind, she found her perfect match in a stunning Jenny Packham number. With a team of talented DIY-ers and ultra-creative vendors on Susannah and Peter’s side, it felt like everyone became part of one big family – especially Madeline Druce who quickly fit right in.
“She slipped right in like a friend we had know for ages and made the plans for the wedding so easy. She went above and beyond and we have ended up with the most spectacular photos because of it.”
