This inspiration shoot by Sydney based styling company Blessed Days is like a pair of denim jeans – classic, uncomplicated and timeless. Shot at Sydney Polo Club by legendary wedding photographer James Day (of Daylight Photography fame), their intention was to shine light on how stunning simple styling can be.
Drawing inspiration from the Club’s natural open setting another Hello May fave, Megan of Makeup by Megan chose to use minimal makeup on model Madeline Rose and keep her hair soft and simple. Wanting to add another layer to their textured wooden table, rustic arbour and wild, unstructured bouquets, Blessed Days also had the good sense to borrow a few gowns from one of our fave Sydney bridal boutiques Hope and Page to complete their classic look.
Anchored behind their beautiful tablescape – decorated with splashes of crystal, wood, and native blooms – was their beautiful macrame backdrop, the perfect accessory for any style ceremony. It was a day filled with pretty things plus a team of very talented vendors who were all caught in the act by cinematographer Maxim Drygin, whose video you can check here.
