If you don’t believe in fate, well, now you’ll kind of have to. You see Hannah and Robert first met many moons ago at a pub in Melbourne. Then, as fate would have it, they bumped into each other again completely by chance almost seven months later.
Fast forward a few years and here we are, celebrating the birth of their son Archie and their amazing wedding at Boyd Baker House in Victoria. Captured on camera and film by the ever so talented folk at Lovely Day Picture, their wedding was filled with friends and family and plenty of DIY feats. Hannah, who wore a gorgeous Grace Loves Lace gown tells us, “everything was DIY! Photo bunting, pom poms, all of the decorations, flowers and even the cake.”
It was a day also filled with endless entertainment. “Hannah and I sang ‘Home’ by The Magnetic Zeros together as a duet for our speech. That was pretty incredible. I remember getting shivers down my spine as we sang and the crowd cheered”, says Robert. The reception was also a casual thing, with Fire-Up Australia pumping out pizzas and a cigar station set up in the courtyard for guests to enjoy with a glass of brandy. “I felt like I was in the 1950s… I felt so classy”, says Robert.
With Hannah’s brother travelling all the way from China, her and Robert made sure their night was one to remember. “Making our wedding weekend a family affair was very important to us.”
