What the world needs now, is love sweet love (plus photographer Jess Jackson, event stylists Hope & Lace, makeup artist Elina Valttila of EV Hair and Makeup and every single other vendor who contributed to this shoot). That way we can sleep peacefully knowing that each and every wedding will look just as good as this set up, originally featured in issue six of Hello May magazine.
Shot in Queensland at Woodlands of Marburg, a plantation style estate built in 1890 this simple yet stunning set-up was the perfect addition to an otherwise beautiful natural setting. Kate Dawes Flower Design set the scene with her citrus inspired bouquets while Cartamodello designed unique wooden stationery to compliment Fox & Fallow’s stylish chalk art.
Lovestruck, Gold Wedding Hire and Hodgepodge Hire all chipped in to provide lovely rustic furniture, placemats and shiny gold cutlery which was all carefully (and expertly!) put together by one of our fave Queensland event planners and stylists Hope & Lace with linen by Covered (essential to clean up Hansel & Gretel’s epic naked cake which we don’t doubt they later ate).
Then of course there were our beautiful brides from Dallys dressed in whimsical Rue De Seine and Anna Campbell gowns available via The Babushka Ballerina, one of our favourite bridal boutiques now located in Queensland and Sydney. To see more from our very talented Australian and New Zealand vendors, keep your eyes peeled for issue seven, on sale December 4 or head over to our online directory.
