Our Shopfront profiles give you the chance to take a peek behind-the-scenes and get to know some top-shelf talents that we work with regularly. Today we bring you the lovely Clare, owner of Sydney bridal boutique Hope X Page. You’ll find gorgeous pics by our friend Scott Surplice Photography (also a talented wedding photographer, guys – see his work here) as well as all the deets on dress shopping at Hope X Page – if you’re hunting for your dream gown, we highly recommend starting here…

Firstly, where can brides find your beautiful boutique and do they need to make an appointment to visit? We’re around 40 minutes south of Sydney CBD at 1/96 Gymea Bay Rd, Gymea. And yes please. We have one-on-one appointments with brides to ensure you get the time and attention you need.

Which designers do you stock? Alex Perry, Cherie by Oui, Watters, Wendy Makin, Alexandra Grecco, Daarlana, Luci De Bella, New White, Chelsea May.

What path led you to Hope X Page? My journey to Hope X Page has been shaped by a passion for communication, digital and social media, combined with a rich background in both the fashion and jewellery industries. With a keen eye for design and a love for celebrating special moments, I found my niche in the world of bridal fashion. I began at Hope X Page as a stylist, where I cultivated a deep understanding of brides’ needs and preferences. Now, as the proud owner, I leverage that hands-on experience to shape the boutique’s vision and offer a unique and memorable experience for every bride who walks through our doors. Hope X Page is not just a boutique; it’s a culmination of my passion for aesthetics, my industry knowledge, and a commitment to helping brides find the perfect dress for their special day.

What’s Hope X Page’s brand ethos? Our aim is to curate a unique and exclusive bridal collection from top Australian and international designers, delivering a personalised journey for brides who resonate with a modern, timeless and non-conventional aesthetic. We believe in celebrating the individuality of each bride, recognising diverse styles. Our dedicated team prioritises our bride’s voice and vision, making their journey one that is relaxed and fun! It’s not just about finding a dress; it’s about creating an experience that reflects our bride’s unique style and celebrates their journey to “I do.”

In-store vibes? We understand the importance of creating an environment where brides feel relaxed and at ease during their dress-finding journey. Our thoughtfully curated collection of bridal gowns complements this tranquil setting, ensuring that each gown contributes to the overall sense of beauty and comfort within our space. From the moment you step into our boutique, our goal is to provide an experience that allows you to unwind, explore, and discover the perfect gown without any unnecessary stress.

What does your typical day involve? As the owner of Hope X Page, my typical day is a mix of tasks that blend my passion for bridal fashion with my background in communication, digital, and social media. Each day is different, but my absolute favourite days are when I’m seeing brides. When I’m not in appointments I’m creating our digital and social media marketing as well as working closely with our wonderful designers on upcoming events and new collections.

What’s your favourite part of the job? This is a tough one, because, with a hint of bias, I believe it’s the best job in the world! The highlight for me is the deep connections established with both our brides and designers. Being part of each bride’s unique journey is incredibly special, along with the excitement of collaborating with and supporting both our existing and new designers.

What can a bride expect when she books an appointment with you to try on dresses at Hope X Page? When a bride visits Hope X Page, they’ll be greeted warmly and with a personalised experience. Our one-on-one consultations focus on understanding their unique style and vision, and they’ll have access to a carefully curated collection of dresses from our beautiful designers. No to mention we just love to have a chat and learn all about our brides, often unrelated to your wedding!

What are the current trends you’re seeing for brides at the moment? Bridal trends are always changing, inspiring brides to take risks. However, at Hope X Page, we notice that brides often lean towards timeless and modern silhouettes. Currently, as for trends our brides are loving silk and satin finishes, structured bodices, sleeves and bows… lots of bows!
