It wasn’t until we’d finished viewing this collection by Israeli designer Limor Rosen that we noticed the puddle of drool on our desks – mesmerising, enchanting and oh so exquisite, this could very well be love. Limor Rosen’s latest collection adds something new to the mix while still remaining true to her ethos of “meticulous patterns, soft and flowing, carefully selected fabrics, and uncompromising sewing.”
As the birthchild to one of Israel’s pioneers of fashion, it’s safe to say that Limor Rosen’s eye for detail and graceful designs are in her blood. Sixty years ago her grandmother and great-grandmother emigrated from Argentina and set up the Miriam School of Dressmaking in Tel Aviv. “The choice of fashion design was a natural one for me”, says Limorrosen, who boasts an impressive resume, having trained at some of the world’s top fashion houses.
Quality lace, intricate beading and flattering silhouettes feature heavily in this latest collection that offers a range of different and unique designs – from long sleeves, to low backs, and from deep, plunging necklines to more conservative yet equally attractive two piece ensembles.
